Sophisticated Play Room
As this family moved beyond the phase of a traditional playroom for young kids and babies, they sought a more mature, yet whimsical and enjoyable playroom feel. They also needed storage to house board games and crafts like markers, stickers, and beads. We decided to design a multifunctional space where we married a playroom, media room and storage space all in one place. We love knowing kids, teens and adults can all enjoy this room…together!

We designed and space planned, balancing functionality and comfort while preserving a touch of sophistication.
We intentionally selected durable custom fabric and couches for the playroom knowing that it is still a playroom for children and that spills do happen!
We organized the closet, all cabinets, and drawers in the room to house all board games and craft supplies.
We created the color palette for the room and sourced the rug, all furniture, and pillows for the space.
